What are essential oils?
Essential oils are the naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant.
Essential oils give plants their distinctive smells, protect plants and play a role in plant pollination. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and their beautiful fragrance, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices.
How do I use essential oils?
I use dōTERRA essential oils and products made from these oils to support my health and wellbeing. I've replaced many of the toxic products I used to have in my home with dōTERRA products or products I've made myself at home using the essential oils and other natural ingredients.
Why dōTERRA? Because I know these oils are 100% pure, there’s no fillers or additives. They are sourced from country of indigenous origin so they’re the best quality and I know they’re not only ethically and sustainably grown and harvested, but the farmers and people in the communities producing them are directly benefiting from this sourcing (read more about that here). dōTERRA has state-of-the-art testing and analysis of their oils, with each batch of oils being tested to ensure their purity and quality (learn more here).
These oils and the products made from them have made such a difference to my life and I’d love to share them with you so you can find out for yourself just how amazing they are so why not come with me on a journey to health and wellbeing.
